3. Taste wine at The Winery

Queenstown is located in the Otago region and is known worldwide for its unforgettable vinos. While you can easily spend days touring several of the wine establishments in the area, you can also pop in to The Winery in the centre of Queenstown, which offers the largest tasting of New Zealand wines in the world. 4. Take a ride on the Earnslaw

The TSS Earnslaw is Queenstown’s famous vintage steamship, and you can take a 90-minute relaxing ride as it cruises along Lake Wakatipu. While aboard, you can learn more about this century-old ship, visit its engine room and mini-museum, and enjoy a refreshing drink at the bar.
