ELEPHANTS ARE ON THE MOVE IN BANGKOK!

Want to see a herd of elephants rocking downtown Bangkok? Check out Bangkok’s first ever Elephant Parade!

Elephants are on the move in Bangkok!

Elephant Parade Bangkok

Eighty-eight 1.5 metre elephants—hand-painted and decorated by artists and celebrities including actors Tony Jaa, Nirut Sirichanya and Pae Arak; Miss Thailand World Cindy Bishop; and Anantara’s own CEO, Bill Heincke—are making their way through the city this Festive Season.

Plus, these artsy animals are doing more than just set the stage for awesome selfies: at the end of their tour, they’ll be auctioned off for charity, and proceeds benefit The Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation, which works to give better lives to both domestic and wild elephants in Thailand.

Introducing Phanda

To show our support for Thailand’s royal animal, Anantara Vacation Club has adopted our very own elephant, Phanda!

Phanda Anantara Vacation Club

Inspired by the baby panda born at Chiang Mai’s zoo and designed by Note Dudesweet, she’s our cutest ambassador and eager to meet our Club Owners and guests.

After her tour around Bangkok with the Elephant Parade, Phanda will be travelling to Anantara Vacation Club resorts around the world, giving travel tips, photo opportunities and prizes!

Follow her journey #PhandaJourney hashtag on social media and simply take a photo with her, upload it to Instagram and hashtag #PhandaJourney #AnantaraClub and your photo will be featured in our Anantara Vacation Club Facebook page.

But before she hits the road, Phanda is hanging out at the elephant exhibit with other cool creatures, such as the super-sparkly ‘Disco Disco’ by Santi Takaew, indie-chic ‘Hardwell’ by DJ Hardwell, mod ‘Hommage to Mondriaan’ by Nipon Keawkamdee and colourful ‘Peace, Love and Music’ by Howie Green.

Meet Phanda and her elephant friends at Siam Paragon—within walking distance of Anantara Siam Bangkok—now through 18 December, or see them at Asiatique from 20 December to 11 January, just a short, free boat ride away from Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa. Your last chance to catch the herd is at Lumpini Park from 18 to 29 January, right around the corner from Anantara Vacation Club Bangkok Sathorn.

Which Anantara Vacation Club hotel or resort should Phanda visit first? Let us know on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or Weibo.
