Inspired by ancient Arabian spice trails, a mixture of Bacardi 151, nutmeg powder, sugar, dates, Arabic coffee, Monin vanilla syrup, green cardamom, star anise, cloves, cinnamon sticks, Le Gourmet Seven Spices, camel’s milk, honey and eggs.
RIVERSIDE TRANQUILITY IN BUSTLING BANGKOK

A molecular speciality, with the lovely purple shade of Thailand’s butterfly pea flower, served by pouring infused Tanqueray gin, lime juice and elderflower syrup over ice before topping up with tonic water. Tea fog is poured over the cocktail to further entice the aroma.
SHAKE IT UP AT HOME
Beer Jar Margarita served at Anantara Kihavah Villas.
Ingredients
- 40ml Fresh Lime Juice
- 50ml Sugar Syrup
- 20ml Tequila Gold
- 30ml Grand Marnier
- 330ml Beer
- 40ml Fresh Lemon Juice
- 40ml Tequila White
- 5ml Bitters
- 10ml Fresh Orange Juice
- Pink Himalayan Salt
Method
- Slice a lemon and lime in two and squeeze out the juice into a cocktail shaker.
- Add in the sugar syrup, bitters, tequila, Grand Marnier, fresh orange juice and some ice
- Shake hard for 5-7 seconds.
- Pour the mix straight into a jar and fill with ice cubes and the beer.
- Sprinkle on some pink Himalayan salt to finish or round the rim.
- Sit back, sip and dream of the Maldives!
