Pas Kiatthanakul – Club Guru
When Club Owners call the Club Guru or send an email, Pas Kiatthanakul, the Thai gentleman behind the soft and friendly voice, is all smiles when he picks up the phone or replies to one of your emails. The Anantara Vacation Club Programmes have no secrets for him and he loves providing you with the travel information you need. He has received great feedback from by our Platinum and Royal Owners for his efficient work, so we have him here to tell us about what makes him a Guru, his quirks, and traveling tips.
What drew you to become a Club Guru?
I just love traveling and this job is perfect for me because I get to do some research about destinations around the world, plan holidays as if it was my own and share some traveling experiences to Owners. Being surrounded with all the travelers and knowing so much about fascinating destinations is just awesome.
Why do you think that Owners are raving about you?
My voice (smirk)…. no. I think it because the owners can hear that I’m willing to help and trying my best to plan their perfect holiday even though sometimes it can be challenging with timing. I also give them options to maximize their Club Points through the various programmes available.
Are there any destinations that you wish to visit from Anantara Vacation Club Programme?
Oaks Shore, Queenstown for sure. I have done some research for Owners about the area, It sounds amazing and it is famous for adventure activities such as skiing, hiking, biking or sky diving with stunning scenery as a backdrop. I also dream of visiting vineyards to do a wine tasting, and enjoy a glass of Pinot Noir on a wine tour. We’ve recently launched Oaks Cypress Lakes in the New South Wales, Hunter Valley into the Club Escapes Programme. I would love to visit some day.
What is the most popular destination for our Club Owners?
It is definitely Anantara Vacation Club Phuket. It’s our Signature Club Resort. The resort is located in world famous, Phuket. The Club Resort is beautifully designed for Club Owners to enjoy the full facilities. It’s a perfect destination for family holidays as well as a romantic hideaway. We have a lot of Owners who repeat their stays at Anantara Vacation Club Phuket.
After helping so many people plan their holidays, what are your travel tips?
1. Be early – I would like to recommend you to book your accommodation as early as you can to avoid the disappointment. Then just let the universe determine the rest.
2. Keep an open mind and meet the locals – Don’t know how or what to expect? There are some tips and information in our Club Blog.
3. Pack light – Keep some space in your bag to bring home the memorable possessions or goodies.
